How to count a rolling Schengen 90/180 window

What to check

For the usual short-stay calculation, examine every day of the proposed stay and look back over that day and the previous 179 calendar days. Count days physically present across the relevant Schengen area, including entry and exit days.

Prepare and compare

Changing between Schengen countries does not by itself restart this counter. Enter complete previous stays, not just the latest visit. Overlapping records must count a calendar day once, not twice.
