Keep three dates separate: when a visa becomes valid, when it expires and the date by which your admitted stay must end. The meaning of a validity date depends on the issuing authority and the visa conditions.

Prepare and compare

Singapore ICA expressly distinguishes visa validity from the stay granted at entry. Check the visit pass or electronic entry record after admission instead of copying the visa’s expiry date into a travel calendar.

Before you travel
