Before you book: a reliable visa-check workflow

What to check

Start with the passport you will actually use, not simply where you live. Record every destination and transit airport, the purpose of the trip and its exact dates. A tourist exemption must not be treated as permission to work or study.

Prepare and compare

Check the responsible government or consular website and the carrier’s document checks. Follow the official authority’s link to any appointed application centre; a search advertisement is not proof of appointment. Save the source and the date you checked it.

Before you travel

Separate visa eligibility, electronic travel authorisation, arrival declarations and the period of stay granted at the border. Before paying for non-refundable bookings, resolve any unclear condition with the responsible authority. Check again shortly before departure.
